On Monday District Court Judge Kirsten Cohoon swore in newly elected Boerne ISD Trustee Sarah Faulkenberry, and the re-elected Trustee Garrett Wilson. The board reorganized
its officers with Trustee Kristi Schmidt as the new board president, and Curtney Darter-Bruce as new vice president. In the same board meeting commendations were given to two Media Outlets in Boerne and inducted into the 2025 Texas Association of School Boards Media Honor Roll - those two being The Boerne Star’s Jeff Flinn and (no drum roll…just toot your own horn) - Boerne Radio.
Starting today crews are going to apply a micro seal treatment to Fair Oaks Parkway between Dietz Elkhorn and Falls Terrace as part of the Fair Oaks Parkway street maintenance program. There should be brief narrowing of the lanes, and 10-to-15-minute delays near Raintree Woods, the Falls and Oakwood Heights. Once the seal cures, traffic should proceed as normal.
Starting at 6 tonight at the San Antonio Rose on Boerne Stage Road a huge Crawfish Boil and Social - presented by 4 Rotary Clubs - the Boerne Sunrise, Boerne Noon, Fair Oaks Ranch and Dominion. They’ll have live music, cash bar, and all you can eat crawfish for free while it lasts - and bid on a big Blackbuck hunt.
