And speaking of Polka, the Abendkonzerte is back in Main Plaza tonight at 7:30. As the sun sets, the Boerne Village Band will fill the night air with traditional German songs and stories from Boerne’s early days, and dancing is always welcome. This event is free and family friendly, so bring your lawn chairs, picnics and the kids for a night of entertainment.  Extra points if you wear your lederhosen or dirndl.

The Alliant Group have selected 5 science teachers in Texas for the Spark Award and a cash prize, and this year, Fabra Elementary’s Melanie Gohn has been chosen a finalist as a 2025 Outstanding Texas Elementary Science Teacher, and you have a say in the vote, in fact you can vote for her once per day until this Friday. The Das Festival of Kendall is only two weeks away, and they are looking for volunteers.
