Headlines: BBBVIP 1/2 way to Christmas party/ $5,000 donation to Meals On Wheels Kendall County from 100 Women of Cordillera/$500 gift to Hill Country Family Services from Adam Feller of Boerne Texas
It’s Wednesday June 25th.
Just 6 more months till Christmas. In fact tonight at the Richter Tavern Boerne Radio is hosting a ½ way to Christmas Party for our Boost Boerne Business VIPs. Learn how you can be a BBBVIP at boerneradio.com.
The Gateway feature in Fair Oaks Ranch is coming right along, and the next step is the concrete pour on Friday…watch out for the big trucks, but no lanes should be closed. Also Fair Oaks Ranch City Manager Scott Huizenga said the work on Dietz Elkhorn is being pushed back 6 months so that a new waterline can get laid beneath Dietz Elkhorn for a new development, and when the new road is put in it’ll feature new shoulders for pedestrians, bikes, and carts.
A lot of generosity flying around on this 6 month count down to Christmas.
The 100 Women of Cordillera made a generous $5,000 donation to Meals On Wheels Kendall County this past week.
Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries is committed to filling 5000 bags that will provide 35,000 meals for Kendall County Kids with something called Summer Hunger Distribution which happens next week…and of those 5000 bags, they are only 118 short. So before you head to WalMart or HEB, swing by Hill country Daily Bread Ministries, pick up one of those bags and the shopping list. They are open on Cascade Caverns Road during the week from 9 to 3.
And a special thanks to Adam Feller of Boerne Texas - a great Boerne Radio listener who made a $500 gift to Hill Country Family Services…and so to get to our matching goal from the Kronkosky Foundation of $100,000…we just need $500. Is that you? Just hit that red donate button when you go to HCFSTX.org for Hill Country Family Services.
