The Boerne Chamber of Commerce has another busy week ahead of them-5 local businesses will be celebrated with ribbon cuttings across the next couple days. Today they are celebrating Crestmont Private Wealth at 11:30, and then the Hungry Horse Restaurant at 1:30. There is a ribbon cutting on Wednesday at 3:30 for Restored HeArt Art, and on Thursday they will celebrate Poolwerx Boerne at 11:30 and the grand opening of Cross’s 2nd location in Bergheim. 

Well in the offseason there’s some movement between teams…no not the Spurs, but in Boerne ISD.  The principal at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary Mrs. Jessica Schults was approved by the school board as the principal of Mark Tyler Voss Middle School…and Mrs. Lauren Sanders, Assistant Principal of Boerne High School will become principal at Viola Wilson Elementary School!  Both will begin their new roles on July 21st.

All this week the northbound lane of Fair Oaks Parkway between Pimlico and Dietz Elkhorn will be closed due to a mill and overlay project. There will be a detour for all northbound traffic, with signs redirecting the flow. Access to Fair Oaks Plaza will remain open from Dietz Elkhorn Road, and construction should finish up Friday.
