Another busy week for the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce.  Tomorrow at 11:30 is a ribbon cutting for the world’s largest rental equipment company United Rentals at their Industrial and Construction Equipment store on I-10 West. 

Then on Wednesday morning at 9 in the Chamber is the Biblical Responsible Investing workshop hosted by Ron Zunker with PAX Financial - Ron is also on the Board of Directors with the Chamber.   You can sign up for the workshop with the direct link at boerneradio.com. 

And then at 11am on Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church is a Parenting Resource Fair.  It’s free and open to the public with over 20 vendors, and it ends at 1.

The Boerne Star reported over the weekend The Comfort ISD board of trustees Friday named Dr. Yvonne Munoz the district’s lone finalist for the position of Superintendent. Munoz has been the director of academic services in San Diego (Texas) ISD for the past four years and is tabbed to replace Dr. Tanya Monroe, who recently retired. During her time in the San Diego ISD, Munoz assisted in improving their middle school campus rating from an “F” to a “B,”.  Dr. Munoz received her bachelor’s and earned her master’s degree in Science educational administration, and doctoral degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
