It’s Monday July 14th. 

And born this date in 1913 - the 38th President of the United States and 40th Vice President.   Gerald Rudolph Ford is the only person to have served as both vice president and president without being elected to either office by the Electoral College.  Ford played football at the University of Michigan and helped the team play two undefeated seasons and win national titles in 1932 and 1933.

Congratulations to the Sisterdale Volunteer Fire Department for becoming an official Advanced Life Support First Responder Organization. With the certification, they are now able to provide a higher level of emergency care, including advanced interventions and medication administration.  The Sisterdale Volunteer Fire Department also has an Amazon wish list…they have a list of supplies they need the most as they continue flood relief efforts across the Hill Country. The City of Boerne is launching a brand new online permitting system today in an effort to make it easier to apply and track permit applications. The New Platform, My Government Online, is accessible to both residents and contractors- all active contractors have already been added to the platform. All current permits already submitted will continue to be processed through the City’s existing software, SmartGov, until they are issued.
