It’s Friday September 4th

And it was on this date in 1965 that The Beatles hit number one in America with Help.  Bob Dylan’s Like A Rolling Stone was number 2, and California Girls was at #3.  And just for grins I’m looking at the current top 3 songs and Choosin’ Texas by Ella Langley is #1 after 45 weeks on the charts, next is Boston by Stella Lefty, and from the Toy Story 5 Soundtrack it’s a former #1 song I Knew It, I Knew You by Taylor Swift.

Well how about them Champion Chargers as heard on Boerne Radio last night, winning 62-14 over New Braunfels Long Creek…their 2nd game scoring more than 60 points, and tonight it’s the Greyhounds turn with their home opener as they host Laredo United.  Fired Up Friday starts at 5, pregame show at 6:30 with a 7:00 kick off here on Boerne Radio.

The City of Boerne is under Stage 2 water restrictions, which means no watering on the weekends. It also means that residential and commercial utility customers are required to limit the use of water for landscape irrigation, even if you use reclaimed water.
