Big announcement yesterday, the restaurant known as Peggy’s on the Green that was established in 2016,  shared the sad news on social media that they will conclude operations at the Kendall Inn on November 30th. The new management for the Kendall have decided to transition the food and beverage services in-house. Chef Mark Bohanan and his team thanked the community, guests, suppliers and staff and hope to continue sharing their cuisine in the future.  If you have a gift card to Peggy’s it will still be honored.  Make your reservation quickly,

With that news of stuff closing, and with all the talk of Buc-ees opening, and the new Boerne Town Center with the coming Sprouts, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Chipotle…the permit has been filed and approved for a new Tractor Supply Company in Bergheim!  It’ll be on 46 and Rodalyn Drive across from Meadow Springs Estates.  It’s a $2.3 Million build out and is projected to open up in late May of 2026.

The City of Boerne’s Planning and Parks & Recreation Departments just received top honors from the American Planning Association. For the second year in a row, the planning department earned the Planning Excellence Recognition — one of only 49 cities in Texas to receive it.  Parks and Rec also brought home the Achievement in Urban Design Award for their Urban Corridor Design and Enhancement Guide, recognized for blending Boerne’s historic charm with modern design in a collaborative and innovative way.
