There will be no pickup for garbage on Christmas Day this Wednesday if that’s your day.  It’ll be picked up on Thursday. Thursday trash will be picked up on Friday, and Friday folks on Saturday.  

The Boerne Star reported over the weekend that The City has invested in Boerne’s newest Electric Vehicles charging station behind the Boerne Visitors Center. The Star also shared that Boerne’s Little League team who went to the World Series had dividends coming as the team received a percentage of the advertising while they were on their historic run.

And Compadres Hill Country Cocina and The Purple Heart Foundation in Boerne would like to invite everyone on Christmas Eve for some LONG AWAITED Breakfast starting at 8am with Chorizo Tacos and Think Cut Bacon.  Santa Claus will be there helping serve with the mission of collecting Holiday Throw Blankets for the  Kerville VA, and if you do donate, you could win some sweet and meaty prizes…Compadres will be open on Christmas Eve morning from 8 to 2pm.
