Melissa Casias was not a "scientist", she worked as an administrative assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory, a major U.S. nuclear research facility. Her husband also worked there. Melissa vanished on June 26, 2025. She was last seen walking along a state highway. An extensive search failed to find Melissa. Nearly a year after her disappearance, on May 28, 2026, her skeletonized remains were found along the McGaffey Ridge in the Carson National Forest, an area that had been searched previously without success. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack examine the known and unknown facts of the case. In the last few weeks, Joseph Scott Morgan has appeared on multiple TV shows, podcasts, and in print interviews talking about the "atypical" gunshot wound to the back of the head of Melissa Casias. Now he delves even deeper into the mysterious death of Melissa Casias.
