In West Georgia, on the morning of February 20th, 2025, deputies with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene at 1531 Carolton Tyus Road. The 5-year-old daughter of James "Jamie" Brock and his wife, "Kristen Brock, discovered the bodies of her parents,  both deceased, from apparent gunshot wounds. The 5-year-old told her sister, Sarah Grace Patrick, 16, and she called 911.
