Frederick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater joined Bob Miller during the Morning News Express to talk about the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project (MPRP) a proposed 70-mile, 500,000-volt transmission line designed to enhance the regional electric grid's reliability. Awarded to PSEG by the regional operator PJM, the project would pass through Baltimore, Carroll, and Frederick counties and is supported by proponents who say it is needed to prevent blackouts and support growing energy demands. She and a lot of people have not liked how this has been run from the start.
