Tune in for a special interview with Ryan Zimmerman, former MLB star and founder of the ziMS Foundation, as he joins Jimmy Key on WFMD to talk about his mission to fight Multiple Sclerosis (MS)—and how the community can get involved.
Zimmerman recently teamed up with Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races for a fun and impactful charity duck pond event, raising $5,125 for his foundation. Fans donated just $5 for a chance to win prizes, including signed Zimmerman gear—all while supporting a cause close to his heart.
Founded in 2006 after his mother’s MS diagnosis, the ziMS Foundation has raised over $3 million to date. Its focus: funding MS research, raising awareness, and providing support and educational programs to those affected by the disease. The foundation also hosts major fundraisers like the annual “A Night at the Park” at Nationals Park.
