His resume is impressive, his humor even better. Senior class president and class clown at Walkersville High (Class of 1980), Bob also helped launch the school’s first-ever football team—the gritty “Mean 19.”

Off the mic, Bob’s a proud husband to Lynda (30+ years strong), a dad to Erin and Bryan, and a super-proud granddad to little Kaelyn.

Bob’s known radio was his calling forever, with stops at major stations in Baltimore and D.C. But Frederick is home, and every morning he brings his voice, wit, and community-first perspective to Free Talk 930 WFMD. He’s joined by great local guests all week to cover what’s happening in and around Frederick County, plus national reporters from Fox News Radio to break down what’s happening across the country.

The Sheriff also weighed in on several hot-button issues, explaining why the Frederick County Sheriff's Office does not use automatic license plate reader cameras, why he believes red light cameras have become more about generating revenue than improving safety, and discussed the additional demands being placed on his deputies, including providing security and oversight around ongoing data center construction projects.
