His resume is impressive, his humor even better. Senior class president and class clown at Walkersville High (Class of 1980), Bob also helped launch the school’s first-ever football team—the gritty “Mean 19.”

Off the mic, Bob’s a proud husband to Lynda (30+ years strong), a dad to Erin and Bryan, and a super-proud granddad to little Kaelyn.

Bob’s known radio was his calling forever, with stops at major stations in Baltimore and D.C. But Frederick is home, and every morning he brings his voice, wit, and community-first perspective to Free Talk 930 WFMD. He’s joined by great local guests all week to cover what’s happening in and around Frederick County, plus national reporters from Fox News Radio to break down what’s happening across the country.

With Drew Phelps filling in for Bob Miller, the Morning News Express welcomed Sharon Hume, owner of Sharon’s School of Dance in Frederick, to talk about the fun and growing community surrounding her local line-dancing classes.

Sharon discussed her transition from operating a traditional dance studio to bringing line dancing directly to restaurants, Moose lodges, American Legion halls and other venues throughout the area.

The conversation covered what newcomers can expect at a class, why no previous dance experience is necessary, the variety of music and dances she teaches and the friendships that have developed among her regular dancers.

Sharon also highlighted her Wednesday night line dancing at Bentztown in Downtown Frederick, along with other classes and events throughout Frederick, Thurmont, Westminster and the surrounding area.

Keely discussed the timeline of the operation, why federal agents were in the neighborhood for nearly 40 hours and what ICE has said about the individual agents were attempting to locate.

The conversation also covered the confrontation between federal agents and protesters, including video showing agents moving through a group outside a home, questions surrounding their authority to enter the residence and the role of the Frederick Police Department during the incident.
