Mitchell Tenpenny was born and raised in Nashville, TN and has an interesting perspective growing up around country music his entire life. He talks to Bobby about what it was like having a grandmother and mother who worked in the music industry, the other artist he grew up with in town and how he made the shift from rock music to country. Mitchell talks about writing his current duet with Chris Young and getting to perform it with him recently on the ACMs. He also talks about getting engaged and how the relationship dynamics works with his wife who is also an artist. He reveals what song he wrote about her on his new upcoming project The Lowlight Sessions.
