Welcome to Bob Tanem In The Garden with Edie Tanem, the Bay Area's premiere local talk show about Organic Gardening!  

Our guest this morning is Wendy Sandoval, part of the family that just took over ownership of Botanica Nursery and Gardens in Sebastopol; it's right along Highway 116 just East of Downtown Sebastopol.  These gardens and nursery have a rich history -- and several names -- spanning back decades, yet some of the same people have worked and propagated Rhododendrons and Azaleas this whole time.  It was wonderful to hear how the new owners are enthusiastic about their new and historically significant nursery and gardens; they're open daily and no longer charge admission to tour the gardens!
