United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby said the sharp rise in fuel prices is weighing on the airline’s outlook, though United has passed on about 72% of the increase so far. Recent booking yields are up more than 20%, and Kirby said United could approach full fuel-cost recovery with roughly a three-month lag if fuel prices stop rising. He expects the airline to remain profitable despite earning less in the second half than last year or previously anticipated. Scott Kirby speaks with Bloomberg's Jonathan Ferro and Lisa Abramowicz.
