Sweetgreen CEO Jonathan Neman says that the Cyclospora outbreak has hurt sales even though the company does not use iceberg lettuce. He also says the company removed jalapenos - for which there was a separate recall over salmonella concerns - from 23 restaurants, and that that the outbreak began impacting Sweetgreen on July 10 and has had a "huge impact" on the quarter, but the firm expects improvements by the end of September.
