Negotiations among members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development start Monday, and an issue is a proposal by European nations to expand an existing three year old ban on Export Credit Agency support for unobated coal fire power plants. The EU wants export Credit Agency financing like loans and guarantees, to be off limits for most oil and gas projects. Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is urging the House Ethics Committee to keep secret its findings on alleged sexual and other misconduct by former House member Matt Gates. President to like Trump's choice for Attorney General, Bloomberg Scott Carr.

The utility Energy is in talks with some of its biggest customers about deploying small nuclear reactors as electricity demand searches from factories and artificial intelligence data centers. We get more of that with Bloomberg's Charlie Pellett.
That word from CEO Drew Marsh, who was interviewed at Bloomberg headquarters. The utility, which serves a heavily industrialized portion of the Gulf Coast, owns four large scale nuclear plants and is considering upgrades to them that would together generate perhaps another four hundred megawatts of electricity. But Marsh says the cost of developing new nuclear power plants is too great for Louisiana based Energy to finance on its own. He says energies industrial and Technology.
