2. US employment report for October. Economists are forecasting non-farm payrolls rose by 173,000 in October following September’s gain of 336,000.
3. Republicans installed little-known Trump ally Mike Johnson as US House speaker, cementing the party’s rightward shift and ending a messy three-week succession fight that paralyzed legislative work.
