Sharron Davie-Martin is one of our board members here at Rural Women New Zealand, a community champion and along with her husband Allen, has won several excellence in farming awards over a long farming career.

 Her journey over the past 20 years is one of twists and turns, and in typical Sharron fashion, her infectious laughter and ability to tell a fantastic story, shines through amidst some very challenging times.

 As a result, Sharron has embraced several leadership roles, particularly within Rural Women organisation, and has just gone from strength to strength.

Today’s conversation with Sharron is full of inspiration, a few laughs amongst the twists and turns of life.
