Apprenticeships used to be for the trades - carpentry, electricians, plumbers. Today there’s  more than 11 career fields available to students. CESA #4 provides many services to more than 26 school districts in Western Wisconsin. Amanda Langrehr, with CESA #4, joins to discuss:

• What fields apprenticeships can be in
• What’s involved in apprenticeships
• How parents can direct their children to career options

You will have a better idea of how students can begin working in their career at an early age - even if they rule it out. The experience teaches both them and their employer - even if it’s that they don't’ want to pursue that path after all.
