I recently travelled to South Korea and decided to get a lower blepharoplasty (under-eye bag surgery). In this episode, I'm giving a full breakdown of my experience—from why I chose to do it, researching clinics, the procedure itself, recovery, costs, and what I wish I knew beforehand.

Be So For Real: This week we're discussing Hailey Bieber's $30 Erewhon smoothie. Is it actually worth the hype, or are people just paying for the aesthetic?

We sit down with Dr. Tsion Berhane, founder of Jubilee Cosmetic Surgery, for an unfiltered conversation about the world of cosmetic surgery — from overhyped procedures and beauty trends to the realities of going under the knife. We also get into the judgment she’s faced within the Habesha community, why she sees cosmetic surgery as more than vanity, and whether there’s ever a point where enough is enough.

This week on Bittersweet, we’re joined by Weezy — host of Decisions, Decisions, co-founder of WTF Media Studios and Trap Haus Studios, and bestselling author — for a conversation that genuinely goes EVERYWHERE. We get into the realities of dating intentionally, what you should actually expect from a first date an why everyone just wants to f*** on first dates, boundaries and finding a relationship that works for you. Weezy also opens up about her engagement and her approach to non-monogamy. Beyond relationships, we talk entrepreneurship, building multiple businesses, being a multi-hyphenate and what it really looks like to build alongside the people you love.

We’re back! Welcome to the first episode of our Bittersweet North America Tour.

This week, we’re in Toronto and joined by our favourite middle school teacher, content creator and new mum, Zahra Hassan! We chat about how Zahra got into content creation, the importance of representation in the classroom and the impact it has on young people, stepping into motherhood for the first time, and the guilt and pressure that can come with trying to balance it all. And of course, we had to play Bitter or Sweet — debating matching aesthetics with your partner, and whether you can stay close with your single and child-free friends when you’re entering a completely different stage of life.
