The first day of competition at the BMW Australia PGA Championship has gotten underway. 

Victorian golfer, Ben Eccles told Bill McDonlad he is happy with his performance.

"I felt like I handled myself pretty well given how wet the golf course actually is,"  Mr Eccles said.
