An Australia Zoo patron has taken to social media after being stung an "extortionate price" for a double cheeseburger. 

A photo of the meal in question was posted to Reddit by user Sumke11, with the caption: "This is what passes as $17 double cheese burger at Australia Zoo".

Sue from Brisbane said told Bill she could "beat the burger" after paying $23 for a regular-sized latte and a blueberry muffin.
