On this Wednesday, October 28, 2026 edition of The Bill Bunkley Show, Kyle Warren sits in for Bill and opens with an urgent call to action: only six days remain until the midterms. He stresses the need for strong turnout to keep the country on its current course, arguing that despite frustrations over the war, fuel prices and other issues, the alternative is far worse. Warren highlights President Trump and Vice President JD Vance’s intensive rally schedule, critiques Democratic figures including Abdul El-Sayed, Angie Nixon and Hakeem Jeffries, and warns against complacency. He offers a hopeful note on the Tampa Bay Rays, who forced a longer World Series by winning Game 4 in extra innings. The show turns somber with news of a deadly high-speed train collision in Spain that has claimed at least 68 lives, with Americans among the injured; Warren calls for prayers for victims, responders and investigators while noting no confirmed terrorism link. Attention shifts to Israel’s first post-October 7 election, where Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud appears to hold an edge but lacks a clear majority, raising questions about coalition talks, continuity with the Trump administration, and the ongoing Iran threat. Warren expresses deep skepticism toward Iran’s “seven-day plan” and diplomatic overtures, arguing the IRGC remains the core problem and that decisive action may follow the midterms. Domestic stories include the Federal Reserve holding interest rates steady, a detailed exposé on Alaska Democrats’ alleged “ballot composition project” to field a second Dan Sullivan against the Republican senator (echoing the movie The Distinguished Gentleman), severe high tides and flooding along Southern California beaches driven by a Kelvin wave and full moon, and the California governor’s race in which Steve Hilton is framed as a long-shot hope against one-party dominance. Warren also discusses new Treasury rules aimed at limiting large institutional investors from buying single-family homes, Florida’s Amendment 3, and pointed criticisms of progressive candidates’ evasive answers on ideology, Cuba and related issues. He closes with a Bible verse from Isaiah 41:10, a reflection on the anniversary of the Statue of Liberty’s dedication, and a passionate defense of liberty over pure democracy, urging listeners to vote and hold fast.
