’Under Pressure’ is a famous song by David Bowie & Queen, with the lyrics: 'Pressure pushing down on me, pressing down on you, no man ask for; under pressure that burns a building down, splits a family in two, puts people on streets'. There are also lots of books called Under Pressure, whether they’re about cooking, sports...performing under pressure (and even a romance novel)! The widespread popularity of this term seems to indicate that everyone, from celebrities to athletes to office workers, feel the pressure of living. How can the Gospel help us make sense of this pressure and handle it well? Our guest: Andrew Laird works at City Bible Forum in Canberra and directs Life@Work, an initiative aimed at connecting Christian faith with our daily work. He’s also the author of the book Under Pressure: How the Gospel helps us handle the pressures of daily work.
