There is a God, and you are not Him.

That is the starting point for all theology.

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

But how did He create the world? And for what purpose?

That will be the focus of this episode, as we look at Genesis 1.

Questions That We'll Answer:
A) The Power and Nature of the Creator: What does the repeated phrase "And God said..." reveal about God's power and the mechanism of creation? What does the orderliness and declared "goodness" of creation teach us about the character of the Creator?
B) Humanity's Unique Place in Creation: What does it signify that humanity is created "in the image of God" according to Genesis 1:26-27? What responsibilities and privileges come with this unique status, particularly concerning our role as stewards over creation?
C) Purpose and Design in God's Creation: How does the Genesis account of creation provide foundational answers to questions of meaning, purpose, and our relationship with the world?
