A woman is preparing to marry her long-term boyfriend, a successful doctor who seems like the perfect partner in everyone else’s eyes. But as they begin discussing marriage, she realizes that her career, her responsibilities toward her parents, and even her decision about having children are expected to fit neatly into the life he has already planned for himself.
