Founded by Liyana Dizzy and Nine, and joined by Syar Alia, Biawak Gemok hopes to give the medium some much needed life in KL. Describing themselves as a ‘radical indie zine distro’, their zines cover topics rarely discussed in the mainstream narrative, all with the intention of giving a voice to the voiceless.
