Gauteng MEC for Transport and Logistics Kedibone Diale-Tlabela has strongly condemned the attacks on e-hailing drivers and burning of cars at Maponya Mall in Soweto. This comes after an alleged confrontation that occurred last night between minibus taxi drivers and e-hailing drivers where it is alleged that minibus taxi drivers attacked e-hailing drivers and burnt three vehicles and damaged four others at Maponya Mall parking area.

Kedibone Diale-Tlabela has strongly condemned the attacks on e-hailing drivers and burning of cars at Maponya Mall in Soweto.

It is no doubt that the loss of Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has left a gaping vacuum in the IFP and a lot has been said about its political future, with some even predicting the party’s demise, arguing that no one can fill Buthelezi’s big shoes, and what makes this observation even more interesting is the fact that the party itself has openly conceded that there will never be a leader like him again. Political Killings in KZN: Another councillor resigns after surviving a hit

ANC stalwart, Aziz Pahad, is being remembered for his many contributions to South Africa - particularly his contributions to the country's policy on the Middle East and his opposition to the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. Pahad died at his home in Saxonwold in Johannesburg, surrounded by his family. He was 82. Pahad served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and member of Parliament from 1994 until 2008.
