He worked in primetime TV for more than a decade across roles with Sunday., Seven Sharp, Close Up and Breakfast and was named “Broadcast Reporter of the Year” in 2020.

Jehan specialises in reporting on social issues. From gritty investigations to moving human-interest pieces and revealing celebrity profiles – Jehan has done them all. He also produced and hosted TVNZ’s first-ever mental health series, The Inside Word.


In this episode we talk about writing stories for the Holmes programme at 13, and travelling the world as a journo at 20.
