Saturday’s matchup also marks the team’s first-ever Pink the Rink game, raising funds for both local and national cancer organizations. Head Coach Paul Zarach joins the show to discuss the meaning behind the event, the team’s early success, and what fans can expect when they pack the rink.

Wednesday, January 7, 2026: Last weekend, Cortland women's hockey claimed the title at the Utica University Kick Off Tournament, with a 2-1 overtime win against Colby and a 4-4 tie (shootout win) against Wilkes. Katie Mahoney netted the game-winning shootout goal and was named the conference's player of the week. She leads the program in points this season and joins BTL to look back at her MVP performance and discuss what's been going right for the Red Dragons the last few weeks ahead of SUNYAC play.
