Monday, October 7: World Mental Health Day is October 10th, and leading up to it, a handful of high schools around our area will be recognizing Student Athlete Mental Health Week through October 12th. The National Alliance on Mental Illness Finger Lakes provides helps and support for families, relatives, and friends of people diagnosed with mental health conditions along with education and advocacy. NAMI Executive Director Sandy Sorensen discusses the growth in education and resources for all student athletes.
