Wednesday, January 14, 2026: The college basketball world is mourning the loss of longtime coach and former Cornell men’s basketball head coach Bill Courtney, who passed away at the age of 55, as announced Tuesday. Courtney spent six seasons leading the Big Red from 2010-2016 and left a lasting impact on the program and everyone around him. Cornell stormed back with 11 unanswered points to force the extra-time - and running back Jordan Triplett was at the center of it all, scoring three touchdowns to seal the 30–24 victory. He joins the show to break down the win, his breakout performance, and how he’s emerged as Cornell’s go-to guy in the backfield.

Wednesday, September 10, 2025: Last Friday, legendary Cornell and Montreal Canadiens goalie Ken Dryden passed away at the age of 78 after a battle with cancer. Former Cornell men's hockey head coach Mike Schafer joins Nick Karski in-studio to remember and pay tribute to the hockey icon.

Monday, May 19: Cornell lacrosse is final four bound! The Big Red secured a one-goal win over Richmond on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals and will face Penn State in the national semifinals on Saturday at Gillette Stadium. Jon Donville swings by BTL to look back at the Big Red's win and preview all of the action coming up during Memorial Day weekend.

Monday, May 12: No. 1 ranked Cornell lacrosse is on to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament after Sunday night's 15-6 win over UAlbany. Monday, May 5: For the first time since 2018, Cornell men’s lacrosse is Ivy League Tournament Champion, knocking off No. 2 Princeton 20-15 Sunday at Schoellkopf Field. Sophomore Ryan Goldstein earned All-Tournament honors after posting eight goals and seven assists over the weekend. Now up to 79 points on the season, he joins BTL to reflect on the title run and look ahead to the NCAA Tournament.

Tuesday, April 15: It was another weekend of CJ Kirst doing CJ Kirst things as the top ranked Cornell men's lacrosse team took down fourth ranked Syracuse last Saturday 17-12. The Ivy League's Offensive Player of the Week had five goals and three assists in the win and climbed within five goals of the NCAA Division I career scoring record. He joins BTL to look back on the win, discuss his record-breaking season, and what it would take for his team to compete for a national championship.

Friday, March 28: Cornell men's hockey is one win away from the Frozen Four, picking up a come-from-behind upset win over Michigan State 4-3 in the regional semifinals out in Toledo, Ohio. Cornell Hockey beat writer Jane McNally swings by the show to look back on the Big Red's big win and preview Saturday's game against Boston University.

Wednesday, March 12: Part one of Cornell hockey's ECAC's title defense wrapped up last weekend as the Big Red beat Yale 5-1 in Mike Schafer's final home game inside Lynah Rink. He makes his weekly Wednesday visit on Between the Lines to look back at the win and preview this weekend's best-of-three quarterfinal series at Colgate.

Tuesday, March 4: It's on to the ECAC Hockey Semifinals for No. 3 Cornell women's hockey, as the Big Red swept Union last weekend in the quarterfinals, 3-0 and 3-2. The second win came in dramatic fashion, with a game-tying goal with just over a minute to play, followed by Gabbie Rud's game-winner with just :27 seconds left on the clock. She joins BTL to look back at the win and preview Friday's semifinal game against Clarkson.

Friday, February 28: The No. 3 Cornell women's hockey team is gearing up for the ECAC Championship Quarterfinals this weekend, hosting Union for a best-of-three series inside Lynah Rink. Grady Whittenburg will be on the call on ESPN+ and previews the weekend for the Big Red against one of the few teams to beat them during the regular season.

Wednesday, February 26: It was a memorable weekend inside Lynah Rink as Cornell hockey honored 10 seniors and the career of Head Coach Mike Schafer following the Big Red's 6-0 shutout over St. Lawrence. With the win, Cornell has clinched home-ice in the opening round of the ECAC Playoffs.
