For more than 15 years, Deb Austic has been a driving force behind Trumansburg’s recreational soccer program, helping introduce hundreds of local children to the game and all that comes with it. Through her work with the Taughannock Soccer Club, Deb has played a vital role in building a welcoming, inclusive environment where young athletes can learn, grow, and have fun.

Known for her steady leadership, warm spirit, and tireless commitment, Deb’s impact goes far beyond wins and losses. Thanks to her dedication, countless players have gained confidence, learned the value of teamwork, and developed a lifelong love for soccer - leaving a lasting imprint on Trumansburg’s soccer community that will be felt for years to come.

Saturday’s matchup also marks the team’s first-ever Pink the Rink game, raising funds for both local and national cancer organizations. Head Coach Paul Zarach joins the show to discuss the meaning behind the event, the team’s early success, and what fans can expect when they pack the rink.
