Thursday, May 7, 2026: Ithaca College has officially ushered in a new era of women’s basketball with the hiring of Erin Hughes as the program’s next head coach. Hughes arrives after a successful run as an assistant at Trinity College, where she helped guide the Bantams to a 35-18 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance, and previously played a key role in multiple NCAA runs at Washington & Lee. A former WBCA All-American and nationally recognized coach, Hughes joins Between the Lines to talk about her vision for Ithaca women’s basketball and the road ahead on South Hill.

The event has already surpassed its fundraising goal, but there's still time to donate and support the cause. Ithaca College Chief of Public Safety Scott Garin joins the show to discuss the tournament's continued growth, its impact on the community, and what fans can expect on game day.

Whether he's on the sidelines Friday nights, guiding an athlete through rehabilitation, or teaching the importance of sleep, nutrition, and recovery, Anthony goes above and beyond to help young athletes stay healthy and reach their full potential.

As his nomination from Lansing football head coach Ralph Boettger says: "He genuinely cares about the health and welfare of every single athlete he interacts with...He is the absolute best."
