Petula McBean has been a steady and powerful presence in the Ithaca City School District for years, helping create the kind of school community where students, families, and athletes feel supported. Whether she’s working athletic events, welcoming fans, helping officials, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, Petula brings pride, professionalism, and care to every event she’s part of.

Her impact stretches far beyond game nights. From helping organize fan buses so students can travel together and support Ithaca teams at sectional games, to assisting with school spirit events and pep rallies, Petula has consistently put students first and helped strengthen the sense of community throughout Ithaca athletics.
