Monday, September 23: ESPN Ithaca's Community Gamechangers recognizes individuals throughout the Finger Lakes who have made an impact in our sports community.
Jason Trumble has been the principal at Ithaca High School for a decade, but has also served as a teacher, coach, and mentor to many who have passed through the school district's hallways for more than three decades. His commitment to sports at Ithaca High School has allowed many programs to exceed and excel on and off the field.
His nomination comes from Ithaca Athletic Director Samantha Little who says, "He truly cares about the ICSD community, and the Ithaca community as a whole, and it shows in his interactions with all he meets. He loves and supports all sports, and is a strong advocate for promoting new and innovative programs to enhance the sports programs in the Ithaca community. Some of these programs include Unified basketball, soccer and bowling and Flag Football."
