One year after signing cornerback Nate Hobbs to a four-year, $48 million contract, the Green Bay Packers cut him after playing just 358 defensive snaps for the team. Clearly, the Packers are admitting that signing was a mistake. 

Meanwhile, the Packers added their first outside free agent of the offseason, signing cornerback Benjamin St-Juste to a two-year, $10 million deal to add some depth to the room.

The Green Bay Packers traded for linebacker Zaire Franklin, re-signed center Sean Rhyan, traded Rashan Gary to the Cowboys, and released Elgton Jenkins. Other than that? Crickets! 

Meanwhile, Malik Willis (not surprisingly) followed Jeff Hafley to the Miami Dolphins, Kingsley Enagbare signed with the Jets, and Quay Walker signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Meanwhile, the Packers might be releasing defensive end Rashan Gary. Or trading him. Or neither. And -- Gary's social media accounts also may have been hacked. Or not. WHO KNOWS?! 

Oh, and Free Agency opens up next week, and it's still fun to dream about the Packers making a play for Ravens center Tyler Linderbaum! (Until it doesn't happen...)
