As the Green Bay Packers put the pads on for the first time at Training Camp, THE KICKER was the No. 1 storyline coming out of practice.  

Packers rookie kicker Trey Smack has struggled the past practices, but says he's staying level-headed as he transitions to the NFL. 

Meanwhile, it was an action-packed practice aside from the kicker with several highlight-reel competions from Jordan Love to wide receivers Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden, as well as a couple bombs from backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Andy Herman joins the show to break down the first five practices.

The Green Bay Packers introduced one-on-ones for the first time this year at Training Camp, featuring wide receivers against cornerbacks, and the offensive line against the defensive line. 

It was another good day for rookie cornerback Trey Smack, while second-year edge rusher Barryn Sorrell had the play of the day with a Pick-Six on a screen pass from Jordan Love intended for Josh Jacobs. So far, the early impressions for the 2026 Draft Class have been positive, including defensive tackle Chris McClellan and edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton.

Packers tight end Tucker Kraft was activated off the Physically Unable to Perform List, allowing him to practice -- in a limited capacity -- for the first time since suffering a torn ACL last November. 

Meanwhile, cornerbacks Keisean Nixon and Benjamin St-Juste turned heads at practice, while wide receiver Matthew Golden looks poised for a breakout year, based on the first three practices of Training Camp. 

NFL analyst Ben Solak from ESPN was at Friday's practice, and jumped on the show to discuss his recent conversations with head coach Matt LaFleur and defensive coordinator Johnathan Gannon.
