Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst spoke for the first time since their 2025 season ended, and answered all the most important questions about the state of the franchise. 

Gutekunst received a contract extension, and believes that keeping head coach Matt LaFleur was the correct decision by President Ed Policy. Gutey also touched on the future of Rashan Gary, as well as whether or not the Packers are in a position to be active in free agency, while experessing confidence in Rich Bisaccia and the Special Teams.

Also, at least one "What could have been?" 

Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the NFL in receiving yards this season, and will likely be named Offensive Player of the Year. Back in April 2023, the Packers had a chance to draft "JSN," but instead, they picked edge rusher Lukas Van Ness with the 13th pick, and JSN fell to No. 20 to the Seahawks. 

Of course, if the Packers could have a "mulligan," perhaps they would have taken Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez over both of them ... considering their current situation at cornerback.
