This week's Belly is inspired by a couple of ingredients, the first being we’re broadcasting out of Studio 2 while Matt and a bunch of vollies renovate Studio 1 which is looking fresh and fruity like a Tangerine Dream (pictured here).

Studio 2 (aka Purple Haze) houses the turntables, and I have a few thousand records, some of which I’ve brought in today to decompress from a stint in an editing vortex, and to celebrate as I wrap up the WOW: Wise Older Women CBF grant funded project. 

I’m beyond happy, to announce the editing phase is complete, and all WOW episodes are now available on all major podcast platforms! Only the grant report to complete. Watch out Spring - here I come!

I’ve been in my head and am now coming back into my body and what better way to do that than bring a whole bunch of records in to mash up into a Belly frenzy for two glorious hours. 

You’re going to hear all sorts of beats and genres, from the 80’s to the now, from soulful house to funk, reggae remixes, world rhythms, and other isms that I hope you’ll enjoy. 

There’s bound to be a few crackles and pops such is the nature of needles and records and the analog love.
