Honeybee Superfood: A breakthrough in preventing honeybee decline is thanks to an Oxford lab student, who created nutrient rich tubes of superfood. Studies show that colonies consuming the superfood “had up to 15 times more baby bees that made it to adulthood.” You’ll hear more about how this can potentially help to protect bees and our global food supply.

Sunscreen Pollution: What happens when sunscreen enters our oceans and freshwater? Though it may shield the skin from UV damage, sunscreen’s chemical ingredients (both organic UV filters and mineral formulations) areincreasingly linked to environmental and human health risks, disrupting hormones, marine life, coral, and bioaccumulation in fish.
