In fact, The sixth Nizam of Hyderabad Meer mehboob Ali Khan made him his tutor in poetry and fete him with numerous titles like Sipah Salar, Yar-e-Wafadar, Muqrib- us- Sultan, Bulbul-e-Hindustan, Jahan Ustad, Nazim Yar Jung, Dabeer- ud- Daulah Fasih- ul- Mulk etc.
