Film, music & broken glass ceilings: How SF celebrates AAPI Heritage Month

View descriptionShare

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and every May, the Center for Asian American Media (also known as CAAM) puts on CAAMFest, a ten-day excursion into film, music, food and culture that highlights the contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

To hear more about what CAAM does to celebrate AAPI communities in May and year-round, KCBS Radio’s Mallory Somera attended opening night of CAAMFest and caught up with Stephen Gong, Executive Director of CAAM.
