Three Man Weave - Eddie Brennan, GAA Documentaries & Targeting County Players

View descriptionShare

The Three Man Weave, Balls.ie's weekly GAA podcast.

This week, we chat to Laois hurling manager and Kilkenny legend Eddie Brennan. Laois had a good showing in the Allianz League earlier in the year and now are all set for an attack on the Joe McDonagh Cup this summer.

Eddie talks about his team's progress and hopes, the switch from punditry to management, his social media presence, and the changing of hurling cultures in less traditional counties.

Also this week, Maurice, Mark, and Mick go through some great listener reaction to last week's discussion on the targeting of inter-county players in club games, and discuss a change of policy in Cavan where county player injuries have taken their toll in Club Month.

On the heels of the announcement of the Down/Meath 1991 Documentary in the works, the lads talk about some of the GAA docs they'd like to see made, and they chat about the finding from Brian Cuthbert's GAA development plan and talk about the expansion of underage coaching.

If you've any stories you'd like the team to cover, please get in touch with the show.
