Elsewhere, Gary rounds up all the Irish lads in action over the course of the weekend, with Sean interjecting with a variety of FAI Cup Final-based shenanigans. Also, Mark finds himself with a strange obsession with Erik Pieters. We also once again crown our Scoundrel of the Week.

There is a surge of interest in the Irish language at the moment, and with that comes the most common question; where do i start? Following something you are passionate about through that language is a great way in, because you  already speak the language of your interest fluently. 'Plé' aims to exploit that possibility, in the best sense of the word. Different languages offer different insights in to the events we collectively witness and Irish is no different. We hope to bring you those fresh insights in order to add value to the collective conversation around sport and it's meaning in our lives.

This is 15 for 50: The Hurling Edition.

We tasked three of the greatest minds in hurling - Anthony Daly, Anthony Nash and Liam Sheedy - to come up with a XV of the greatest hurlers the game has seen from the past 50 years to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the All-Stars!

Who will get into a stacked full forward line? Who misses out by the skin of their teeth? How many lads will be moved out of position to facilitate another?

It is a fascinating listen and, yes, the lads do come to an agreement in the end!
