15 for 30 is a weekly series on Balls.ie where we want your votes for crown the best teams from each counties in the 30 years since 1990. Each poll will be accompanied by a podcast.
We've already picked the Donegal footballers, Waterford hurlers, Meath footballers and Tipperary hurlers, the Armagh footballers, the Mayo footballers, and this week we're back to hurling with the Banner County themselves, Clare.
Clare made the breakthrough from obscurity in 1995 and went on to dominate for the rest of the 90s. They won another All-Ireland in 1997, and were back 16 years later in 2013 under Davy Fitzgerald.
We speak to the voice of Clare hurling, Syl O'Connor of Clare FM, who looks back on his county's last 30 years and makes his tough calls.
